Qyira Yusri

Qyira Yusri did a double major in Communications and Gender Studies at Western Michigan University, USA. She is a believer that society can only improve with access to excellent education & is passionate about elevating the voices and stories of the marginalized youth in Malaysia. After graduation, she worked in the education non-profit scene, namely Teach For Malaysia and Closing The Gap, Malaysia. She is experienced in creating and executing sessions focusing on leadership, mindsets, and values for youth and children. She has worked in creating and running youth organizations focusing on nation-building, advocacy, and policy.

TV Demokrasi

TV Demokrasi aims to design and launch voter education modules in the form of cartoon videos. The videos will be 3-minutes long and there will be 5 separate videos covering a few topics of importance.

It will be conceptually similar to Schoolhouse Rock, except done for the Malaysian context.The videos will be narrated in 4 languages; namely Malay, English, Tamil and Mandarin. These cartoon videos will then be hosted online for public access for free.
